Scholarship of Excellence Award: The school was very proud to receive confirmation that Tara Noonan (class of 2019) was to be awarded the Scholarship of Excellence Award at Athlone Institute of Technology. This award celebrates the outstanding academic achievement of first-year students, each of whom has achieved 500+ points in their Leaving Certificate examinations. To mark their achievement, recipients are awarded a financial bursary and a comprehensive gym membership, giving them access to the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities for the year. At a recent ceremony in AIT, Tara was acknowledged as a high academic achiever for her performance in her Leaving Certificate. Acting Principal, Ms. Siobhan Cullen was presented with a commemorative plaque for the school to mark this achievement during the ceremony. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Tara who is now studying Applied Psychology. We wish her continued success at third level and beyond.
